Curry Garden!

The Curry Garden (in Turf City) serves the best northern and southern Indian cuisine I have ever had. Ever. It's been reviewed as one of the best Indian restaurants in Singapore so its not just my biased opinion. As well as having amazing food, their meals are also healthier than your average traditional Indian recipes, as they eliminate excess fat, cholesterol and calories by cooking without MSG and preservatives and yet somehow manage to keep the amazing flavour. Also, their staff are so nice. My family goes there every Friday night and they've become like family to them. The main guy there has given his phone to my parents before so they can talk to his wife and children. Its very cute. They just make you feel so at home and welcome.

Basically everything on their menu is amazing so I'll just tell you what my family normally orders to give you a few suggestions of what you should eat if you go there and you're stuck on what to choose. As you'll probably be able to tell, my family loves our chicken dishes.
Chicken Sheek Kabeb: Tender chicken cooked with garlic paste, ginger paste, onions, yoghurt, almonds, coriander leaves, lemon juice, salt and oil.
Chicken Vindaloo: Cooked Kashmiri red chilly, vinegar, sugar, fresh ginger and spices.
Chicken 65: A spicy deep-fried chicken dish cooked with ginger, cayenne pepper, mustard powder and vinegar.
Chicken Shair Kurma (this is what I normally have): Tender chicken cooked with yoghurt, cream, nut and seed pastes.
Chicken Tikka Masala: Roasted chicken chunks in a spicy Masala sauce.
Potato Special: Mashed potatoes with mixed vegetables, some spices and onion. (I love this one and it goes so well with the Chicken Shair Kurma)

Here's a picture of what our table normally looks like on a Friday night (post dinner):
I forgot to take a picture before we dug in because I was just so looking forward to eating. I am seriously craving it now... drool.

Can't wait till I'm back in Singapore at Christmas so I can go back here. You should definitely go here if you're looking for some amazing authentic Indian food. And you're in Singapore of course.
