Vintage Chocolate Chip Cookies!

Everyone needs a good cookie recipe and this is the one to beat!

 

Such a simple but effective recipe. No frills, no fuss. Just a good, vintage cookie.

I was on a scone-making-binge for a while there and I had some butter left over but I wasn't in the mood to bake and then eat another batch of scones. Instead, I thought I'd go ahead and make cookies! 

Be warned though, this recipe makes a lot of cookies. I took up their suggestion of using teaspoon measurements to bake so the cookies were quite small but there were a lot of them! 30+

Always nice to have a bountiful supply of cookies on hand though. 

Grab a few and a glass of milk and you've got yourself a great time!
